"Ron Clayton Hartmann, the wayward Celestial Dragon and captain of the now infamous Bengal Pirates, was never one to believe much in destiny or fate. He believed everything happened by blind, uncontrollable chance, nothing being pre-destined to happen. He abandoned his life of a Celestial Dragon at a young age, after seeing his own father brutalizing and fatally shooting an enslaved girl before his very eyes. Running away and scraping together the closest thing resembling a living in the North Blue, the boy abandoned his last name and insisted on being called either Ron and Clayton. Five years later, whilst now working as a longshoreman and moonlighting as a underground fighter, the world was stunned when the Fishman known as Fisher Tiger laid siege to the holy land of Mariejois. Seeing the World Nobles, the kinsmen in whom he'd forsaken, witnessed their power and authority get spat upon... And the idea, for some reason, filled the boy with a sense of excitement.

That was 15 years ago. Now at the age of 35, Ron was an experienced and infamous pirate captain, with more than 200 men sailing underneath his flag. He sailed both all throughout the Grand-Line and parts of the New World, attacking and pillaging World Government supply ships, uncovering and laying waste to any "Human Shop" hear about and come across and doing WHATEVER they could to undermine the ruling authority. Despite his privileged early upbringing and "godly" blood flowing through his veins, Ron clawed his way from obscurity and became the bane of the current day World Nobility, even going so far to repeating what Fisher Tiger had down and attacked Mariejois. That was him, he had told himself. That was all his doing. He wasn't fated to run away from his luxurious life. He wasn't destined to become a pirate. Everything that had happened to him, good or bad, had all been by chance.
